Allied Universal in Orange, TX is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time TWIC Driver to provide dependable site security, greet employees, and enforce access controls. Qualifications

• Background check and drug screen per law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of facility buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access control points and verify visitor and contractor credentials.
• Respond to incidents and alarms and notify site contacts and emergency personnel.
• Prepare clear activity reports and communicate observations to leadership.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time TWIC Driver in Orange, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeThur02:00 AM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of chemical and petrochemical facility buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access control points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery credentials in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel as directed.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and policy concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a TSA‑issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• A guard card or license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
