Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Part Time TWIC Patrol Driver in Orange, TX. The role supports government locations with unarmed patrols, visible presence, and customer service, while meeting driver policy requirements.

Schedule is Part Time, with daytime and evening shifts using our Claim a Shift platform. The position requires a TSA-issued TWIC, a valid driver’s license, and a background check.

Qualifications

• TSA-issued TWIC and a valid driver’s license are required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A background check and drug screen are required.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government service location.
• Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and daily documentation in accordance with site requirements and Allied Universal procedures.

What You'll Do:

• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and daily documentation in accordance with site requirements and Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• A guard card or security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
