Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer Site Patrol in Lakeland, FL to provide security, customer service, and safety at a technology-focused site. You will conduct patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents to deter security-related issues.

The role offers a flexible weekend schedule with a pay rate of $18.96 per hour. A high school diploma is required, with 1 year of security experience preferred and standard background/drug checks.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and assist with maintaining orderly entry and exit processes.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate relevant observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM


• Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:
