Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.96 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, access points, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and support site protocols.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify access credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access attempts or other security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures.
• Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications, and promptly notify appropriate personnel of observed concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
