Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations with calm problem-solving and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and maintain orderly entry/exit procedures.
• Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff information while communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.96 / Hour

Job Schedule: Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, surrounding grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site policies, and assist with maintaining orderly entry and exit procedures.
• Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff information while communicating professionally with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
