Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by following security procedures.
• Respond to incidents calmly and escalate per site procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of property interiors, parking, entrances and perimeter.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
• Sun 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property areas, including building interiors, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations, to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with property policies, assisting with authorized entry and reporting access-related concerns.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and designated property contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
