Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by observing visitors, employees, and deliveries and reporting unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately and complete required reports in a timely manner.

As a Security Officer Entrance Badge Control in Blythewood, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and use technology to document observations. DayTime Wed 10:30 PM - 06:30 AM Thu 10:30 PM - 06:30 AM Fri 10:30 PM - 06:30 AM Sat 10:30 PM - 06:30 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
