Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time in Blythewood, SC. You will patrol manufacturing and industrial locations, deter incidents, monitor access, and respond to security concerns while delivering exceptional customer service.

Position type is Full Time with a schedule across nights and weekends. Prior law enforcement or security experience is preferred, with background checks and drug testing required. Allied Universal offers competitive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and contractors by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations calmly and per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, parking areas, entry points, loading/receiving areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and maintain logs and incident documentation.
• Communicate hazards, maintenance concerns, and security issues to site contacts and leadership.

As a Security Officer Full Time in Blythewood, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and respond to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, parking areas, entry points, loading and receiving areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site policies, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Communicate observed hazards, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least two years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortably use a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
