Qualifications

• Complete accurate activity reports and shift communications per site requirements.

As an Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a commercial real estate location, maintaining a visible presence that helps deter incidents. You will conduct routine rounds, observe and report security-related concerns, assist tenants and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $16.79 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property interiors, exterior areas, parking facilities, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and reporting observations to appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access activity and maintain awareness of the location for unusual conditions, potential hazards, and security-related concerns.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
