Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, employees, and contractors while carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and manage entry and exit points at a technology, media, and telecommunications location, verifying identification, visitor authorization, and credentials in accordance with site requirements.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and access-control records; issue and collect authorized access materials according to established procedures.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entry points, and the business perimeter to help identify unauthorized access or security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
