Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation per federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories per law.
• Subject to a drug screen where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property personnel by following security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and document observations and actions.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of common areas, parking, exteriors, and perimeters to identify and report issues.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; enforce property access procedures and report unauthorized entry attempts.
• Complete daily activity, incident, and handoff reports accurately and promptly.

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of commercial property common areas, parking areas, building exteriors, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assisting with the enforcement of property access procedures and reporting unauthorized entry attempts.
• Complete daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift handoff communications accurately and promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
