Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer (Reception Technology Support) in Los Angeles, CA. You will greet tenants and visitors, manage access control and badge procedures, monitor lobby activity, and deliver outstanding customer service at a commercial real estate front desk.

As a flexible part-time role, you can build a schedule and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. A high school diploma and background check are required.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Background and drug screening as a condition of employment.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

As a Front Desk Security Professional at a commercial real estate location, you will welcome tenants and visitors, manage access control and badge procedures, monitor entry activity, and provide outstanding customer service. You will serve as a professional, visible presence to help deter incidents while communicating clearly with building occupants and responding to security-related needs. Pay Rate: $19.75 / Hour

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors at a commercial real estate front desk by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Greet visitors, manage access in accordance with site procedures, verify credentials as appropriate, and direct guests to their destinations.
• Monitor lobby activity, visitor logs, access control systems, and/or communications equipment, reporting unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of visitor activity, incidents, deliveries, and other front-desk security-related information.

Minimum Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
