Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Reception Guest Relations in Los Angeles, CA. You will be the welcoming front desk presence, handling access control, visitor management, and security communications for a commercial real estate site.

The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, professionalism, and teamwork. Work with a flexible evening schedule (Thu-Sun 2:00 PM–10:00 PM) and contribute to a safe, secure environment for tenants and guests.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and employees at a front desk while following site-specific security procedures.
• Greet visitors, verify access, issue visitor credentials, and guide guests per protocols.
• Monitor lobby activity and security systems; report unusual activity and maintenance or policy violations.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents and tenant concerns; follow emergency procedures when needed.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs, incident reports, and access records while representing Allied Universal professionally.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $21.60 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or employees at a commercial real estate front desk while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Greet visitors, verify access authorization, issue visitor credentials, and direct guests to appropriate offices or building areas in accordance with established protocols.
• Monitor lobby activity, access points, and security-related systems, reporting unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs, incident reports, access records, and other required documentation while representing Allied Universal professionally.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
