Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers while following site security procedures.
• Monitor and control access points, verify IDs, issue credentials, and maintain entry/exit records.
• Screen incoming vehicles, deliveries, and personnel per site procedures and direct traffic as needed.
• Respond to alarms and incidents calmly and document observations for site contacts and emergency personnel.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.

You will monitor entry points, verify authorized access, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and site personnel. Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Monitor and control access points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor or contractor credentials, and maintain accurate entry and exit records.
• Screen incoming vehicles, deliveries, and personnel in accordance with site procedures, directing authorized traffic to appropriate receiving, shipping, or designated areas.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, business areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
