Responsibilities

• Respond calmly to access-related incidents, alarms, and incidents per site procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of entry points, production areas, parking, and facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and leadership regarding unusual conditions and incident documentation.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the manufacturing location by verifying credentials, processing visitor and contractor entry, maintaining access logs, and directing authorized personnel to designated areas.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, production-adjacent areas, parking locations, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding unusual conditions, access concerns, and incident documentation.

Minimum Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
