Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Unarmed) for a full-time role in Rincon, GA. The officer will safeguard client sites, manage access, verify credentials, and help maintain a safe, welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and contractors.

Position type is full time with a scheduled daytime to evening shift rotation. The pay rate is $17.50 per hour, and employment includes ongoing training, benefits, and opportunities for career growth within a leading security services

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation as required by laws.
• Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws; valid driver's license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service while enforcing site-specific security procedures and emergency responses.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and manage visitor/contractor records.
• Control vehicle and pedestrian access at gates and checkpoints per site procedures.
• Respond calmly to alarms and security incidents and notify appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, perimeters, parking areas, and surrounding property.

As a Security Officer Full Time - Unarmed in Rincon, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and contractors. You will communicate professionally, respond to security-related concerns, and help maintain orderly operations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and direct authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
• Control vehicle and pedestrian access at gates, checkpoints, and restricted areas in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-area perimeters, parking areas, and surrounding property to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
