As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will patrol assigned areas, monitor for incidents, and support access control and visitor directions while maintaining a professional presence. Training and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, visitors, and staff while following site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols in retail common areas and surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor for unusual activity and document incidents per site procedures.
• Assist with access control, traffic flow, and visitor directions while maintaining presence.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $24.60 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Fri: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, visitors, and/or staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail common areas, tenant spaces as assigned, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor for unusual activity, report security-related concerns and maintenance issues, and document incidents according to site procedures.
• Assist with access control, traffic flow, and visitor directions while maintaining a professional presence that helps to deter undesirable activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
