Job summary

• Experience with access control and badge systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report access-control concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and support security-related operations. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in the job state. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while working with an agile, reliable, innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $21.85 / Hour

Job Schedule: Sat 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Sun 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
