Allied Universal in Bellevue, WA is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Driver Alarm Panel Patrol to safeguard clients across Retail/Malls and related venues. Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license required per policy.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location including sales floors, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor for unusual activity, potential hazards, and policy violations to deter theft, trespassing, and other security concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, notifying appropriate contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate information to leadership and site representatives.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas, as assigned.
• Monitor for unusual activity, potential hazards, and policy violations, helping to deter theft, trespassing, and other security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate store contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security‑related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
