Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Driver Alarm Panel Patrol in Bellevue, WA to protect clients and assets across retail and other sites. You will patrol, observe, and respond to incidents while delivering courteous customer service.

The role requires a minimum of 1 year in security, a valid driver's license, and comfort using a computer or tablet. Alarm panel experience is preferred, with age requirements of 18+ (unarmed) or 21+ (armed).

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen as per federal, state and local laws.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location.
• Monitor for unusual activity, hazards and violations to deter theft and other issues.
• Respond to incidents calmly and notify store contacts and responders when needed.
• Document observations and communicate information to leadership and site representatives.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $24.15 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas, as assigned.
• Monitor for unusual activity, potential hazards, and policy violations, helping to deter theft, trespassing, and other security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate store contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
