Allied Universal in Butler, PA is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol to provide dependable security services at a retail location. You will work fixed shifts and have opportunities to earn more by picking up additional shifts through our platform.

Role offers a six-month anchor shift commitment with potential to scale toward full-time hours, and pays $19 per hour. Must be 18+ with a HS diploma, and will undergo background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting suspicious behavior to leadership and site representatives.
• Document incidents and daily activities and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol in Butler, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: Tue 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to customers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following site‑specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the sales floor, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
