Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer with patrol experience in Shepherdsville, KY. You will monitor premises, deter incidents, provide customer service, and maintain a visible presence across technology, media and telecommunications locations.

The role offers a flexible Daytime schedule on weekends and a starting pay of $17.25 per hour. Candidates should have at least 1 year of security experience, a high school diploma, and be able to pass background checks.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating information according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, office areas, loading and receiving spaces, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership while supporting a welcoming, orderly environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
