Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency responses.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter to identify and report unusual activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures and maintain a professional presence.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations and document activities for site records.
• Prepare clear reports of observations and patrol activities and communicate with site contacts and leadership.

Pay Rate: $18.57 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, facility concerns, or unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, maintaining a professional presence to help deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities as required.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of observations, incidents, and patrol activities while communicating professionally with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
