Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, access points, parking areas, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations.
• Monitor access to assigned areas, verify credentials, maintain logs, and report unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and other critical situations following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in required reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

As a Security Officer Part Time Patrol Driver in Clarksville, TN, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.67 / Hour

Job Schedule

• Mon 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sun 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

• Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, access points, parking areas, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations within a chemical or petrochemical environment.
• Monitor access to assigned areas, verify credentials as directed, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in required reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
