Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by following security procedures, site policies and emergency responses at a high-availability data center location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility and surrounding areas; report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access control and verify credentials per site procedures; report unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents calmly and escalate as directed to site contacts and emergency personnel.
• Complete accurate activity reports and shift logs per company/site requirements.

Pay Rate: $19.71 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a high-availability data center location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, access points, and operational areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access control activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel as directed.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• At this site, there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
