Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Patrol Driver in Nashville, TN. You will provide courteous customer service, perform unarmed patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents with professionalism while upholding site policies.

Qualifications

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, vendors, and event attendees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entry points, and surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, crowd-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions according to site requirements.
• Maintain a visible professional presence during daily operations and events, communicating clearly with site contacts, law enforcement, and emergency responders when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
