Allied Universal, Whitsett, NC, is seeking a part-time Security Officer for Patrol Customer Engagement at a technology-focused location. You will provide visible security, assist employees and visitors, and help maintain a welcoming environment while following site procedures.

Responsibilities include responding to incidents, conducting patrols, monitoring access points, and documenting logs with accuracy. Must meet minimum requirements and have reliable computer or tablet skills for daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document and communicate observations according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of office areas, data and equipment spaces, parking areas, entrances, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and assist with maintaining orderly entry and exit processes.
• Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff information while collaborating with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

Pay Rate: $16.48 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sat 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
