Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer for a part-time, Whitsett, NC site. You will provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors, perform routine security procedures, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents.

The role requires you to work a set schedule (Tue 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM; Thur 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM), be at least 18, have a high school diploma, pass background and drug screenings, and comply with licensing rules.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology-focused corporate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout office areas, parking facilities, building perimeters, and other assigned property areas.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and vendor activity to help deter unauthorized entry and report unusual conditions.
• Document patrol findings, incidents, and security-related observations accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
