Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer in Whitsett, NC to monitor and protect a technology-focused location. You will provide courteous customer service, patrol assigned areas, verify credentials, and respond to incidents following site procedures.

This role emphasizes a professional presence, reliable logs, and collaboration with employees and leadership to maintain a safe, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of office spaces, parking areas, building perimeters, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs and incident reports in accordance with site requirements.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership while supporting a welcoming and orderly environment.

Pay Rate: $16.48 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sat: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
