Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer in Jeffersonville, IN. You will perform patrols, deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service to employees and visitors at a technology-focused site.

Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating information through established channels as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, loading areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, verifying credentials and directing guests to appropriate locations as needed.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity documentation while maintaining professional communication with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

Pay Rate: $17.63 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Tue 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
