Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Part‑Time Unarmed Security Officer in Jeffersonville, IN. You will patrol the site, monitor access points, and provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents.

The role offers a flexible part-time schedule with weekend night shifts, and opportunities to grow within a dynamic, people‑first culture. CPR/First Aid is preferred; background checks and a drug screen apply.

• Complete activity and incident reports and communicate to leadership and site contacts.

You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.63 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the business, perimeter, parking areas, and other assigned locations to help identify unusual activity and support security-related operations.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and delivery traffic in accordance with site policies, assisting with badge verification and directing individuals to appropriate locations.
• Complete required activity reports, incident reports, and daily logs accurately and in a timely manner, communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
