Allied Universal is hiring a Part-Time Security Guard (Unarmed) for Jeffersonville, IN. You will perform unarmed patrols, monitor access points, and provide excellent customer service at a technology-focused location.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by following security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols of office spaces, common areas, parking facilities, loading areas, and exterior perimeter to identify unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials; report unauthorized access or policy concerns to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a calm, problem-solving manner and complete required incident reports.
• Communicate professionally with site contacts, public agencies, and Allied Universal leadership while maintaining a welcoming environment.

Pay Rate: $17.63 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of office spaces, common areas, parking facilities, loading areas, and the exterior perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and complete required incident reports.
• Communicate professionally with site contacts, public agencies, and Allied Universal leadership while supporting a welcoming environment for a dynamic technology location.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
