Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring part-time security professionals in the Atlanta area. You will perform security procedures, monitor access points, patrol facilities, and respond to incidents to ensure safety and compliance.

Position involves Fri/Sat/Sun shifts with a pay rate of $16.39 per hour. Candidates must meet minimum age and education requirements, pass background checks, and may require licensing; a valid driver’s license is needed for driving roles.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Monitor access points, verify entry/exit, and document activity.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, parking areas, interiors, and perimeters.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly and promptly.
• Prepare accurate reports and logs related to patrols, incidents, access activity, and shift operations.

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry and exit, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, parking areas, building interiors, trailer yards, and the perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required logs related to patrols, incidents, access activity, and shift operations.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
