Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Part Time Enhanced Security Officer to provide dependable, flexible security coverage at a financial institution in Naperville, IL.

You will help customers, staff and vendors, conduct regular and random unarmed patrols, monitor access points, respond to incidents, and document observations per post orders and site protocols.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

• Monitor access points, observe visitor and employee activity, and deter unauthorized entry following post orders and site protocols.
• Complete incident reports and assist with security-related inquiries to support daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures, location‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, surrounding grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify security‑related concerns and report conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and employee activity, and help to deter unauthorized entry and/or disruptions by following established post orders and location protocols.
• Support daily operations by completing incident reports, maintaining a visible presence, and assisting with security‑related inquiries in a professional manner.
