Responsibilities

• Monitor entry/exit points, verify credentials, and direct guests per site rules.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergencies; document observations and notify site contacts.
• Complete activity logs and shift handoff communications with awareness of changing site conditions.

Pay Rate: $28.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, offices, and the exterior perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor records, and direct guests according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Complete activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications while maintaining awareness of changing site conditions and operational activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess EMT certification.
• Have previous firefighting experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
