Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer for Emergency Readiness at a manufacturing and industrial site in Mossville, IL. You will provide security, customer service, and incident response while adhering to site policies and documenting activities.

EMT certification and firefighting experience are required. You must be at least 18 (21 for armed positions), hold a high school diploma or equivalent, and be comfortable using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

• Monitor access by verifying credentials, directing visitors, documenting entries, and reporting unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and report observations.
• Complete activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation professionally.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Pay Rate: $28.00 / Hour

• Wed 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, offices, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and support site requirements.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, directing visitors, documenting entries, and reporting unauthorized activity according to site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations and request additional support as needed.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• EMT certification is required.
• Previous firefighting experience is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
