Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Customer Service Patrol in Peoria, IL. This part-time role involves serving employees, visitors, and contractors, patrolling a manufacturing and industrial site, and maintaining a friendly, secure environment.

You will monitor access, respond to incidents, and document activities for site leadership. A minimum of 1 year security experience and a high school diploma are required, with additional certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• A drug screen is required to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of manufacturing areas, office spaces, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, managing visitor and contractor entry, and reporting access-control concerns.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual observations through required reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
