Allied Universal in Hawaii is seeking a Part Time Security Officer - Parcel Screening in Waimanalo. You will screen visitors and deliveries, provide customer service, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while supporting daily operations.

This role offers flexible part-time hours with pay at $18.12 per hour. A high school diploma and background check are required; guard card/license preferred; driver’s license only for driving positions.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Guard card/license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, vendors, and employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-screening requirements, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
• Screen individuals, packages, and deliveries in accordance with established procedures; verify authorized access and report irregularities to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, prohibited items, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and escalation procedures.
• Maintain accurate access, visitor, delivery, and incident documentation in accordance with site requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, service areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Job Schedule:

• Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
