Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur: 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM
• Fri: 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM

Pre-Employment Requirement: 21+ Years of Age (C101)

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, court personnel, attorneys, and members of the public while carrying out site‑specific screening procedures and policies.
• Screen individuals and their belongings using approved screening equipment and procedures, following applicable court access requirements.
• Verify access credentials, direct visitors to appropriate areas, and communicate entry restrictions and prohibited‑item procedures in a professional manner.
• Respond to incidents, prohibited‑item findings, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, coordinating with appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned public areas and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• X‑Ray screening experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
