Responsibilities

• Respond to incidents and critical situations; notify site contacts and document activities.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Screening Operations in Wahiawa, HI, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.12 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeWed11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site‑specific screening procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
• Screen employees, visitors, vendors, and deliveries in accordance with established access‑control requirements; verify credentials, direct individuals to appropriate areas, and report irregularities.
• Monitor entry points and screening equipment, observe activity for prohibited items or unusual behavior, and help to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and document activities as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including entrances, receiving areas, and the perimeter, while maintaining awareness of food and beverage operational activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
