Qualifications

• Provides customer service to employees, visitors, contractors and delivery personnel at a technology-focused site.
• Responds to incidents and security concerns in a calm, professional manner, escalating as needed.
• Performs regular and random unarmed patrols to deter improper activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitors access points, verifies credentials and maintains accurate security logs and reports.
• Communicates observations and issues promptly to leadership and client representatives.

• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate security‑related logs and reports.
• Communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance or security‑related concerns promptly to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol in New Stanton, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.75 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeTue10:00 PM - 06:00 AMWed10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.Experience in loss prevention is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
