Armorous is seeking a Security Officer to safeguard properties, deter criminal activity, and ensure safety for housing communities and commercial sites. The role requires vigilance, strong decision-making, and excellent communication to handle incidents, with hourly tours and access control at check-in and check-out.

The position offers evening shifts (Tue and Wed 5:00 PM – 1:00 AM) with potential for additional hours and a competitive hourly wage of $21.00.

Qualifications

• Valid BSIS Guard Card required.
• Current BSIS compliance certificates (8-hour Initial Training, 32-hour CE).
• Clean driving record and ability to operate company vehicles.
• Experience working graveyard shifts.
• Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Remain alert and proactive in high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hourly patrols to monitor and secure designated locations.
• Identify and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, and unauthorized access.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter crime and ensure public safety.

• Security Officer for Low Income Housing

Job Description:

As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for safeguarding properties, deterring criminal activity, and ensuring the safety of businesses, construction sites, and residential communities, etc.
Your role requires vigilance, strong decision-making, and excellent communication skills to handle security incidents effectively. Officers are responsible for conducting hourly tours, ensuring the premises is secure. Access control when checking in and out guests to property, and checking all entrances and exits.

Shifts:

Tuesday - - - 5:00 PM - 1:00 AM
Wednesday - - 5:00 PM - 1:00 AM
** 16 HPW + Opportunity for additional shifts! **

Compensation:

$21.00 per hour

Security Guard Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine patrols to monitor and secure designated locations.
• Identify and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, and unauthorized access.
