Armorous is hiring a Security Officer for the Dispensary Market to safeguard properties and deter crime. You will perform hourly tours, control access, and monitor entrances/exits to ensure a secure environment.

Qualifications

• BSIS Guard Card required and keep BSIS compliance up to date.
• Initial 8-hour training and 32-hour continuing education per BSIS.
• Strong customer service and professional demeanor required.

Responsibilities

• Check IDs of incoming patrons.
• Conduct routine patrols to monitor and secure locations.
• Identify and report safety hazards and unauthorized access.
• Maintain a visible security presence to deter crime.
• Respond to incidents and assist in emergencies.
• Document daily activity and incidents in reports.
• Communicate security updates to supervisors and team.

Position/Titles:

• Security Officer for Dispensary Market

Job Description:

As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for safeguarding properties, deterring criminal activity, and ensuring the safety of businesses, construction sites, and residential communities, etc. Your role requires vigilance, strong decision-making, and excellent communication skills to handle security incidents effectively. Officers are responsible for conducting hourly tours, ensuring the premises is secure. Access control when checking in and out guests to property, and checking all entrances and exits.

Shifts:

Friday - - - 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Saturday - - - 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
&
Sunday - - - 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Monday - - - 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Tuesday- - - 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM
**6 Hours Shifts for 30 Hours Per Week**

Compensation:

$21.00 per hour

Security Guard Responsibilities:

• Check ID's of all incoming patrons
• Conduct routine patrols to monitor and secure designated locations.
• Identify and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, and unauthorized access.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter criminal activity and ensure public safety.
• Respond swiftly to incidents and provide support in emergency situations.
• Document daily activity, incidents, and observations accurately in reports.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding security updates and concerns.

Security Guard Qualifications:

• Valid BSIS Guard Card (required).
• Current with BSIS Compliance
  • i.e: 8-Hour Initial Training Certificate
  • 32-hour continuing education certificates
• Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to remain alert, responsive, and proactive in high-pressure situations.
