Armorous is seeking a Security Officer for the Winery Production Facility in Healdsburg, CA. The role involves guarding the site, managing gate access, and performing patrols overnight.

You will rotate between gate control and camera monitoring with another officer, ensuring security across indoor and outdoor areas. The position runs Friday through Tuesday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, at 16 hours per week, with potential for additional shifts.

Qualifications

• BSIS Guard Card is required.
• BSIS compliance includes 8-hour initial training and 32-hour CE.
• Valid Driver's License is required.
• Graveyard shift experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine patrols to monitor and secure designated locations.
• Identify and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, and unauthorized access.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter criminal activity and ensure public safety.
• Respond to incidents and provide support in emergencies.
• Complete accurate written reports for each shift.
• Monitor camera systems and clear motion-activated alerts when assigned to surveillance.

Security Officer, Winery Production Facility

Location: Healdsburg, CA | Type: Unarmed | Assignment: Full Time

Job Description:

As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for safeguarding properties, deterring criminal activity, and ensuring the safety of businesses, construction sites, and residential communities, etc.
Your role requires vigilance, strong decision-making, and excellent communication skills to handle security incidents effectively. This assignment supports gate access control and camera monitoring for a working production site. Two officers are scheduled per shift, and duties rotate between them. One officer manages gate access and completes a facility patrol, and the other monitors camera systems and clears motion activated alerts. You will rotate through both responsibilities.
If you are alert, dependable, and comfortable holding a post through the overnight hours, this role is built for you.
This role includes conducting regular patrols, preventing unauthorized access, and ensuring all areas of the site remain secure at all times

Shifts: Wednesday - - - 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Thursday - - - 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
16 hours per week + Opportunity for additional shifts

Compensation:

$21.00 per hour

Security Guard Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine patrols to monitor and secure designated locations.
• Identify and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, and unauthorized access.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter criminal activity and ensure public safety.
• Respond swiftly to incidents and provide support in emergency situations.
• Document daily activity, incidents, and observations accurately in reports.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding security updates and concerns.
• Control gate access, verifying and admitting only authorized individuals and vehicles
• Conduct a facility patrol that takes approximately two hours to complete
• Monitor for unauthorized access, unsafe conditions, or property concerns during patrol
• complete accurate written reports for every shift
• When assigned to camera monitoring:
  • Monitor camera systems covering both the local site and other company facilities
  • review and clear motion-activated alerts promptly
  • document any activity that requires follow-up

Security Guard Qualifications:

• Valid BSIS Guard Card (required).
• Current with BSIS Compliance
  • i.e: 8-Hour Initial Training Certificate
  • 32-hour continuing education certificates
• Valid Drivers License
• Clean driving record and ability to operate company/site vehicles safely.
• Availability to work the assigned schedule: Friday through Tuesday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Experience working graveyard shifts.
• Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor.
• Physical demands include standing or walking continuously for up to 60 minutes and cumulatively up to six hours per shift
• Physical demands also include sitting continuously for up to 60 minutes and cumulatively up to six hours per shift, depending on the assigned duty
• Foot patrols cover indoor and outdoor surfaces, including stairs, ramps, parking areas, and uneven terrain
• The role requires bending, reaching, climbing stairs, and entering or exiting a vehicle as needed
• You may be required to lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to 25 pounds
• Ability to remain alert, responsive, and proactive in high-pressure situations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior retail experience
• Prior security experience, particularly in access control or camera monitoring
• Comfort working overnight hours in an industrial or production setting
