As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide professional customer service. You may assist with sensitive hospital areas and respond to situations involving individuals who require intervention. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and assist with directing patients and visitors to appropriate locations.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities accurately and promptly in accordance with site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to work in a hospital morgue.
• Ability to restrain individuals.
• At least two years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
