Allied Universal in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Security Officer Graveyard Morgue Patrol to safeguard patients, visitors and staff across healthcare environments. This unarmed patrol role emphasizes customer service, a visible security presence, and calm response to incidents.

You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, verify credentials, and document activities, working closely with site personnel under a full-time night schedule.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals.
• At least 2 years of healthcare or medical-related experience.
• Alarm panel and X-ray screening experience preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may be required.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facility interiors, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized access concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals.
• Must have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
