Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be able to work in and around a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals as needed.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply; driver's license for driving roles

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations per established protocols.
• Conduct regular patrols of healthcare facilities, entrances, parking areas, and surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; assist with directions and escorts; report suspicious activity.
• Complete accurate incident reports and daily activity logs per site procedures

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facilities, entrances, parking areas, and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as needed, and report suspicious activity or policy violations.
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be able to work in and around a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals as needed.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
