Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer to operate at the Dayton, OH front desk of a financial institution. You will greet visitors, verify IDs, control access, and respond to incidents with professionalism.

The role offers weekly pay and flexibility to build a shift schedule using our platform. This position emphasizes customer service, security procedures, and clear communication with site leadership.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Background histories considered in accordance with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to visitors, employees, and vendors at a financial institution front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Greet and screen visitors, verify appointments and identification as required, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor access records.
• Monitor access to the facility, assist with directing guests to appropriate locations, and communicate access concerns to authorized personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific response procedures.
• Maintain a professional front desk presence, answer incoming calls, receive deliveries, and report unusual activity or security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

• Sat 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Sun 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
