As an Armed Security Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor access points, verify authorized entry, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $28.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 06:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Sun 06:00 AM - 05:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, donors, visitors, and staff while carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points, verify authorized access credentials, and maintain visitor access records in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to identify and report security-related concerns, unauthorized access, and/or unusual activity.
• Support a professional healthcare environment by directing visitors, maintaining awareness of restricted areas, and documenting incidents and observations accurately.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
