Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency responses as needed.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, notifying appropriate contacts and emergency services.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity per site procedures, assist with access control and reporting of unusual conditions.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident and patrol reports and communicate information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

As an Unarmed Security Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.37 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• Sun 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, offices, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with access control and reporting unusual conditions.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued Security Professional license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
